Scholorships

(in progress - 10% complete)

Cadets have various opportunities for funding; some are pre established programs, others are local opportunities and personal requests you can make to local organizations.

CEAP:

Thanks to U.S. Air Force support, CAP has special funding available to cover encampment fees and uniforms through the Cadet Encampment Assistance Program or CEAP (pronounced "seep").

CAP and the Air Force recognize the significant investment that is needed to properly equip and cover the costs incurred when sending a cadet to a summer encampment.  As such, the CEAP program is intended to assist as many families as possible.  Unfortunately, this is a "first come, first served" program that requires your immediate attention if you intend on gaining the benefit.  Below are a couple helpful facts and a link to learn more about how to apply:

  1. APPLY FOR CEAP NOW - Even though our summer Cadet Training Schools applications don't open until April, you need to apply NOW for the CEAP funding in order to have a reasonable chance at receiving this benefit.
  2. CEAP AUTOMATICALLY TRANSFERS - This "grant" funding will transfer to another cadet in the PA Wing if your son/daughter doesn't end up being able to attend one of our summer encampments, so there is absolutely no downside to applying early!
  3. FUNDS ARE LIMITED - Families who apply in March have a much greater chance of receiving benefits as the funding is limited, and the number of families applying grows every year.
  4. APPLYING BENEFITS OTHER PA WING CADETS - The actual cost per cadet to attend our summer schools is significantly higher than what we actually charge because of generous donations made annually to our highly successful training program.  As such, this CEAP benefits actually increases our ability to reduce the school fees to all of our other members.
