Cyber Programs

“To develop a cutting-edge and robust cyber-security education and training program, in efforts to prepare cadets (and seniors) for a career defending critical United States digital infrastructure.”

When you think of “Cyber Programs,” you may be thinking of CyberPatriot. While CyberPatriot is certainly a large part of CAP’s current cyber program, the NHQ Cyber team is working to expand cyber beyond just CyberPatriot with the support of both CAP and the Air Force Association. Other efforts in CAP’s participation include the Cyber Defense Training Academy (CDTA), and other associated cyber  training opportunities.

In the 2018-2019 competition season, 25,000 people participated in the CyberPatriot competition.  These teams worked to meet the CAP mission statement of “supporting America’s communities with emergency response, diverse aviation and ground services, youth development, and promotion of air, space and cyber power.”
